Project Canvas has progressed the development of the core technical specifications to support the launch of the first Canvas consumer equipment, through engagement with both the Digital Television Group (DTG) and a number of Innovation Partners working closely with the project. These working draft technical documents have previously been shared with the DTG membership as part of Project Canvas’ participation in the DTG’s Connected TV activity. This is with the aim of establishing standardised building blocks for Connected Television that are due to be published in D-Book 7. Canvas will reference the relevant specifications in D-Book 7.
